Just got word from Dawn Glanc who sent in her photos and a summation of her time spent acting as one of the climbing guides for the the Chicks Rock clinic this past weekend. Held March 31 through April 4 (including the optional multi-pitch day), this clinic gets women on the rock and improves their skills in the sport.
From Dawn:
The Chicks rocked this weekend in Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas. The three day program was full of fun and laughter. Day one we went to Moderate Mecca to get familiar with the sandstone. Day two we hiked an hour into First Creek Canyon to climb at the Romper Room Wall. It was a great day of crack climbing. Most women learned how to hand jam for the first time. Day three we put it all together and climbed at Ragged Edges.

Monday was an optional multi-pitch day, four women stayed to climb with Kitty Calhoun and I. I climbed Physical Graffiti with participants Anne and Lisa. Kitty took her ladies up Wholesome Fullback. Everyone had an adventure on that last day. It was a perfect was to end our Spring clinic in Vegas.
